My Approach
Every engagement is tailored to your organization, but each follows the same evidence-informed process which is designed to provide objective insight and support confident hiring decisions.
Understanding the role before evaluating the candidate.
We begin with a conversation about your organization, the role, and what success looks like. Together, we identify the qualities, behaviors, and workplace challenges that matter most for the position.
Selecting the right assessment for the role.
Candidates complete evidence-informed assessment measures selected for your hiring goals. Depending on the engagement, the process may also include structured interviews or additional consultation.
Turning results into meaningful insight.
I interpret the findings within the context of the role, not simply as assessment results. You'll receive practical insight into workplace behavior, communication style, motivations, strengths, and potential blind spots. I also provide consultation on structured follow-up interview questions to help you explore the areas that matter most.
Helping you hire with greater confidence.
You make the hiring decision. My role is to provide objective psychological insight that helps you evaluate candidates with greater understanding and confidence.
Continuing the value of the assessment after the hiring decision.
Assessment findings can continue to support onboarding, individualized feedback, coaching, and professional development—helping new hires understand their strengths, anticipate challenges, and accelerate their success within the organization.
Every hiring decision is an investment in your organization’s future. Objective data and expert consultation help reduce the risk of costly hiring mistakes while creating value beyond selection. The resulting insight can continue to support onboarding, development, and long-term success.

Helping teams work better together.
Understand how personalities influence collaboration, communication, and conflict. Customized team training is designed to strengthen workplace relationships, improve team functioning, and reduce unnecessary conflict.
Turning potential into performance.
Individualized assessments, professional coaching, developmental feedback, and consultation that strengthen communication, improve workplace relationships, build on individual strengths, and support sustained performance and professional growth.
Customized for your organization.
Customized briefings and small-group training sessions that translate psychological science into practical strategies for communication, conflict management, resilience, burnout prevention, team effectiveness, and professional growth. Every engagement is tailored to your organization's goals, audience, and workplace challenges.
Who I Am

Operational/National Security Psychologist
Organizational Consultant
Behavioral Consultant | Insider Risk
I have spent my entire career working in high-stakes environments where decisions about people carry significant consequences. Over the course of my career, I've worked alongside Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC), Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC), Naval Special Warfare (NAVSPECWAR), the U.S. Army's Command Assessment Program, and the intelligence community. Although every mission was different, they shared one expectation: selecting the right people when the consequences of getting that decision wrong could affect missions, teams, and lives.
Those experiences fundamentally shaped the way I approach assessment, selection, and organizational consultation. While technical expertise and experience are important, I have repeatedly seen that long-term success often depends on qualities that are far more difficult to evaluate through interviews alone. Judgment, communication, resilience, leadership, interpersonal style, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure are often what distinguish individuals who thrive from those who struggle.
Today, I bring that same disciplined approach to organizations seeking greater confidence in their hiring decisions. Whether comparing finalists, designing hiring processes, strengthening teams, or supporting professional development, my goal remains the same: to help leaders better understand the people they hire, develop, and trust with their organization’s future.
Selecting the right people requires more than identifying qualifications. Long-term success often depends on qualities that are more difficult to evaluate through interviews alone—judgment, resilience, interpersonal style, leadership potential, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure. As a licensed psychologist with extensive experience in high-consequence assessment and selection, I help organizations better understand the people they hire so they can make more confident decisions.
My experience spans national security, government, nonprofit, and private sector organizations. Although much of my career has been spent supporting high-consequence selection decisions within military special operations, intelligence, and national security environments, the same psychological principles apply to organizations seeking thoughtful, evidence-informed hiring and leadership decisions.
